After Hours Care
On nights, weekends, and holidays when Town Center Pediatrics is closed, our patients can be seen at Pedi-Q Urgent Care in Northborough. If your child has private insurance, it is always best to check to see if Pedi-Q is in your coverage network. Most all forms of MassHealth are accepted.
Opened in August of 2022, Pedi-Q is a pediatric only urgent care serving patients from birth through 21 years of age. Children with special needs are welcome. Their providers are trained in pediatrics so you can feel comfortable taking your child there.
It is a walk in clinic only and does not take appointments. There is x-ray on site but a technician is not available every day, so if you think your child needs an x-ray of any sort, it is best to call ahead.
They are able to do rapid testing for Influenza, COVID-19, RSV, Mono, and Strep and can perform urinalysis evaluations. Pedi-Q also has the ability to do sutures and IV fluids as well, should your child need these services.
Once seen there, we will receive a summary of your child's visit within 48 to 72 hours, so that any necessary follow up can be scheduled.
All of this is available to you and your child at the fraction of the cost and wait time of an emergency room!
